A real signature, on your own web page.
WriteSign puts a signature pad where your customer already is: a checkout, an agreement, an order form. They draw or type, you keep a vector that renders at any size, with the evidence of who signed it and when.
Stays in your browser. Nothing you draw or type on this page is sent anywhere.
What the control does
Signs in place
The pad sits inside your page, next to the thing being agreed to. Finger, stylus or mouse on any current browser, phone or desktop. A larger signing dialog opens for small screens.
Draws or types
The signer can draw their signature or type their name and adopt it. Either way the typed name is kept with the drawing, so the record always reads as a person.
Stored as a vector
The strokes are stored as points, not a picture, so the signature can be rendered crisp at any size later: a thumbnail on an invoice, full width on a contract.
Keeps a sealed record
Every signature is written to a tamper-evident record that meets the ESIGN Act and UETA requirements, and anyone holding the document can verify it later.
Terms, built in
An optional, customizable terms of use block sits above the pad, so acceptance of the terms and the signature are captured in the same moment.
Fits your stack
Add the control to an ASP.NET or PHP page and call the service for images and documents. A new public REST API and MCP server are part of WriteSign 2.0, in development now.
About WriteSign
WriteSign began in 2010 as the signature control behind a family of business-services companies, where it has captured more than a million signatures on orders, payments and agreements. It was built for a plain requirement: a signature taken on a web page should be as trustworthy as one taken across a counter.
WriteSign 2.0 rebuilds the product for the way agreements are signed now: full stroke capture with pressure and timing, a sealed evidence record for every document, tiered identity checks, and signing authority that can be delegated, including to software agents acting under a scoped, revocable mandate. If that is the problem you are solving, tell us about it.
