The same four steps a signer goes through on a page that uses WriteSign. Everything here runs in your browser. Nothing you draw or type leaves this page.
1. Sign
2. Any size
3. On a document
4. What it meets
By drawing or typing a signature below and continuing, you agree that it is for demonstration purposes only.

One vector, any size
WriteSign stores the strokes, not a picture. The three images below were rendered just now from the same stored points, so each is crisp at its own size. A typed name is rendered the same way.
Stamped on the agreement
A signed document carries the signature image, the typed name and the moment of signing, bound to the exact text that was shown. Print this page to keep a copy as a PDF.
Demonstration terms of use
This document exists to show how a WriteSign signature appears on a signed page. It creates no obligation. The signer confirms only that the signature below was made for demonstration purposes on the WriteSign website.
WriteSign records a signature as a set of stroke points with timing, renders it as an image where a document needs one, and keeps the typed name and the time of signing with it. The signer can draw, or type and adopt a name.
A signature taken this way follows a process designed to the requirements of the federal ESIGN Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act for electronic signatures.
Intent to sign
The signer draws or types, reads an adoption statement, and applies the signature with a deliberate action. Nothing is signed by default.
Consent to sign electronically
Before any document, the signer is shown the electronic records disclosure and agrees to it. They can request a paper copy or withdraw consent.
Attribution
Each signer confirms the email address the document was sent to and a one-time code sent by text to their mobile number.
Association with the record
The signature, the signer's name and the moment of signing are bound to the exact document that was shown.
Integrity
Every step is written to a sealed, tamper-evident record. Change one character of the document afterwards and the seal no longer verifies.
Retention and access
Every party receives the completed document. Anyone holding it can confirm it on the WriteSign verification page.
